Who is Jane Hardjono?

That’s a good one. It’s in the book. If you’re into nonduality, you’ll realise that she is you. But because we are on an about page on my book website (and we are going to be regular humans and not talking about ‘that which is experiencing life itself, in this present moment’), let me me introduce myself.

My credentials

I am an author by now, thanks to writerfulness and I am a writing practitioner, thanks to the many novels and other nonfiction masterpieces that I never widely published (well, not yet). I am also a certified nonfiction book coach (thank you very much, Author Accelerator) and a movement practitioner (because Embodiment Unlimited made me an embodiment coach and I also am a Feldenkrais Method practitioner through the New Zealand Feldenkrais Guild). You can find out more about what I do if you click on the buttons below.

What I write about

I write mostly about writing, nonfiction book publishing and marketing, embodiment, movement practice, personal growth, nondual philosophy, artistic expression and kindness. It’s a lot.

My origins

I am Australian born to Indonesian parents, Dutch by naturalisation and a permanent resident of New Zealand. I would really love to get a puppy. Instead of that I have two children and a husband. I have been neither authorised nor trained to do so, but I love to dance. Our piano gets played every day (and I may have been both authorised and trained to do so). I have learnt how to deal with pain, sadness and grief as part of life along with joy, humour and laughing till you cry. I suffer much less these days. Hardly at all, to be honest.

I cut my own hair with a Japanese feather razor, I don’t like unpacking the dishwasher and red lipstick is part of my brand when I remember to wear it.

My combination of mindfulness and bodyfulness saved my life.
And it brought writerfulness to you.
